Sandra Allayne Cloud

Sandra Allayne Cloud, 81 of Pinellas Park, Florida passed away on January 5th, 2026. Born in Texas, she grew up in Highland Heights, OH before moving to Pittsford, NY where she graduated from high school and then attended the State University of New York at Potsdam receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Education.

Sandra had a career of helping people first as a schoolteacher, then as a leader responsible for religious studies at St. Michael Parish, followed by owning a day care, and finally as a customer service professional. She raised her family in the New England area and later outside of Chicago before moving to Florida in 1998. Sandra enjoyed reading, making a point to ensure the book had a happy ending before she invested in the plot. She spent time crafting with her grandchildren, often looking up activities that mixed creativity and learning. In her recent years, Sandra was cared for by her daughter Marcella referring to her as “My Angel.”

She is survived by her two children Marcella Cloud and Ken (Danielle) Cloud and her 5 grandchildren, Amber Rose, Gavin, Elaina, Bryce and Griffin and her sister Kimberly (Mark) Thoreson and her nephew Donald (Mel) Tatarka and Kerrie Tatarka. Sandra loved butterflies and would want us to be reminded of her love when one is near.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 7th at Serenity Gardens.
