Sandra was born on February 29, 1936, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Bill and Nina Hendricks. She graduated from Landon High School and later pursued a career in banking, where she worked for 10 years. On January 25, she married Thomas Hammock, and together they built a loving family and life rooted in faith and community.
A longtime member of Anona Methodist Church, Sandra found joy in simple pleasures — cooking for her family, getting lost in a good book, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. Her warmth, strength, and quiet kindness touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her son and daughter, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on September 6th, 2025, at Serenity Funeral Home with Lou Krutz officiating.
