Sandra K Hennessy

Sandra was born on May 27, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, to Sylvia Smith and Charles Hennessy.

She graduated from Jackson-Milton High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University. Sandra married Earl Alan Vogt in 1965, and they were together until 1984.

Throughout her career, Sandra worked in office administration for Nationwide Insurance and Pinellas County. She was an active member of the Winston Park Community in St. Petersburg, where she contributed to the activities committee and was also involved in the Hennessy Clan. Sandra gave her time to organizations such as the Alpha House and Quilters Guild. She had a passion for a variety of crafts including genealogy, quilting, sewing and knitting. She especially enjoyed making things for her grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Christine Kay Will and Patricia Vogt Carpinelli; and her grandchildren, Kaci Will, Madeline Carpinelli, Zac Carpinelli, and Alec Carpinelli.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at her condo. Sandra will be laid to rest in Dayton, Ohio, this spring, surrounded by family.
