Scott A. H. Batchelder, 66, of Largo, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, with his wife Janice, daughter Madison, and hospice team by his side. Born in Boston, MA, Scott moved to Largo in 1993 from Lexington, MA.
Scott was a dedicated Quality Control Inspector at Honeywell International and a devoted Christian. He was a cherished member of Calvary Church Seminole and found great joy in his faith. An avid classic car enthusiast, Scott took great pride in restoring his 1955 Chevy Bel Air, often showcasing it at car shows or enjoying leisurely drives to Rita's on Sundays.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Janice; his daughter, Madison, 20; his sisters Janet Batchelder of Marshfield Hills, MA, Gale Batchelder of Cambridge, MA, and Kristin Costanzo (Nick) of Boca Raton, FL; his brother, Richard Batchelder of Worcester, MA; and his nephews, Patrick Scanlon of Florida, and Benjamin Batchelder of Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard S. Batchelder and Virginia "Ginny" Batchelder; his son, Nathan Batchelder; and his brother, Andrew Batchelder.
