McVicker, Stewart Alexander II, 71, of Largo, passed away on Wednesday, July 18th in the comfort of his home. He will be missed by his friends and family. Stewart was born in 1946 to Stewart and Marie in Steubenville, Ohio. Stewart met Mary Alice and they married on January 23, 1967. Together they had two beautiful children: Kurt and Margo. They moved their family down to Pinellas County in 1978.
Stewart served in the United States Army. Following that he worked for Bic as a Manufacturing Supervisor. During Stewart’s “retirement” he worked as the Associate Director/ Secretary for The United States Army Drill Sergeant Association. Stewart was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Largo, FL. Stewart loved his family, collecting and trading Disney Pins, fencing, reading Sci-Fi novels, and watching Star Trek.
Stewart is predeceased by his son: Kurt. Stewart is survived by his loving wife of 51 years: Mary Alice, daughter: Margo, daughter in law: Pam, sister: Deborah (John), granddaughter: Katelyn, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23rd at Serenity Funeral Home from 11-1pm. A funeral service will follow at Christ the King Lutheran Church at 1:30. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
