Ted R. Heddleston, 61, passed away early Monday morning. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he moved to Pinellas County when he was a young toddler, and resided there the remainder of his life. Ted worked for Pinellas County Schools where he made many friends.
Ted’s passions all surrounded adventures with his wife of 25 years, Becky. They enjoyed vacationing in the Florida Keys on their beloved boat with friends. They kayaked every river and stream in central Florida, air boated on Lake Tsala Apopka, and jet skied the entire Suwannee River.
Ted is survived by his treasured wife, Becky, his brother, Michael (Sue), his large family, and many, many dear friends.
A visitation will be held in honor of Ted at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, FL 33774, on Friday, September 2nd, from 6-8pm, with a Rosary service beginning at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 3rd at 11am at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd, Largo, FL 33774. Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
