BROWN, Thomas S., 80, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Largo, FL, passed away peacefully on Sept. 21, 2013 at home. Tom was born in Wilkinsburg, PA and moved to northern CA at age 5. He retired as a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service traveling and living throughout the world. Tom was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (1975) sons, Ronald (2008) and John Gregory (2010), and sister Ruth (2006). He is survived by his wife, Debra of 19 years; son David E. (Sue) of Largo, FL; daughters in law Kim and Karen; brothers, David (Lenore) of Carmichael, CA and Gordon (Jackie) of San Carlos, CA; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving father, adoring grandfather, a devoted husband, and a committed Christian. Memorial contributions may be made in Tom’s memory to the missionary fund at the Orland Evangelical Free Church, 614 A Street, Orland, CA 95963 or to the American Heart Association.
