They later spent 35 years together and had 3 children, Joshua, Zachary and Morgan.

Tim loved to be outdoors on the water, on the golf course or on the football field with his boys. His greatest quality was his undevoted love for his family and most of all his 7 grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Joshua and Ashley Van Horn, Zachary and Sara Van Horn, Morgan and Cody Hamblin. Tim had 7 grandchildren: Ella, Aubrey, Bennett, Julia, Zoey, Saylor, and Macy. The Van Horn family was larger than life in which Tim had 3 sisters and a brother. Sisters Cheryl Van Horn, Brenda Starr, Sue and Denis Golden and Doug and Stacy Van Horn and his numerous nieces and nephews.
He will always be remembered for lighting up a room with laughter, his passion for Florida sports teams, and his sense of humor which made everyone around him feel happy.
