She pursued her undergraduate degree in psychology at Loyola University Chicago, where she displayed an insatiable curiosity for the human mind and its complexities. Her thirst for knowledge led her to achieve greatness, culminating in the attainment of her doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Chicago College.

On June 10, 1989, Vicki joined her life in matrimony with Dr. James Napier Jr, the man she met during her internship at Suncoast Hospital. Their love story blossomed alongside their shared passion for medicine, as they embarked on a lifelong journey together.

Dr. Pappageorge's career was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her patients and their families. Her compassion and dedication were unparalleled, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to be under her care. Her love extended beyond the hospital walls, embracing her loved ones and friends with warmth and affection.

Vicki is survived by her devoted husband, Dr. James Napier Jr, and their daughter, Jessica Napier (Travis Miller), who resides in Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Dr. Robert Napier, and sister-in-law, Janet Napier.

The family privately held services honoring Dr. Vicki Pappageorge with comfort knowing she is at peace and has joined her beloved rescue dog, Sophie.
