

On April 24, 1937, Violet married the love of her life, George Tomczyk, with whom she shared a devoted and loving marriage until his passing on August 26, 1989. Together, they built a life rooted in love, service, and family.
Violet dedicated her life to being a homemaker, a loving mother, and a proud military wife. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering support for her family were constant throughout her long life. She was also a committed member of the Women’s VA Auxiliary, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to the well-being of veterans and their families.
She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Tomczyk and Lucy Eskew as well as Dorothy Hoffman, who was like a daughter to her and she loved so much. She is also survived by her nephews Donald and Andrew Dohaney, and Melvin Postek and Dorothy Hoffman’s children; daughter Doris Reed and her children Cecelia (Cece) and Mitchell; son Robbie Hoffman, his wife Kathy, and their children Jacob and daughter Emily along with her husband Nick Clark; son Danny Przeklasa. Violet was also survived by niece and nephew Robin and Bobby Korona, and many cherished godchildren and other relations across the country.
Funeral services will be held at Serenity Funeral Home and St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Violet’s remarkable life.
Violet is and will be missed. She was an amazing woman. May she find peace and happiness in Heaven.
