Bill and I were close friends from Ramsey High School.  All part of a group of buddies including Dick Nyman, Dick Wright, Tom Landaur, Jim Allen, and myself.  We all had nicknames and Bill's nickname, Whip, was one of the acceptable ones.  After all. we were young.  Whip and I often would leave his home across from Trigger's in Saddle River and go over to his Aunt and Uncle's farm house where I learned to eat fresh tomatoes and onions with balsamic vinegar, what a treat on a summer day.  He would play his beloved guitar and I would sing along, making up fake Spanish words as we went along...he got a real kick out of that.  Bill, Tom L. and I  joined the service under the buddy plan and decided to all go Airbourne at Fort Dix.  Unfortunately, when arriving at Fort Campbell, we got split up into different divisions and only got a few opportunities to get together.  After the service, our lives went in different directions but I did get a chance to see Bill and Sue get married.  We met again in Florida years later, finding out that we lived only a few towns apart.  We enjoyed Ramsey High reunions in Florida, organized by good friend Joan Dragon.  Bill...I'll miss your great sense of humor and your wonderful smile.  Geronimo!! (not too many people can say that the way a paratrooper does).

I love and miss you both so so very much.

I have so many memorize of My uncle Bill.  My first recollection was taking the bus from California to Ohio to stay the summer with you while mom was at the National Parachute team training.  You gave my sisters and I $100 each for spending  money.  
You were always so generous and thoughtful and carring. 
I will cherish the beautiful lighted globes  you gave me these last few Christmas’s. 
I think of you every time I see them.  I am very greatful to  God that he brought me to Florida to spend more time with you and my Mom.   I will  miss you so very much!
 Your presence was so much part of my everyday life.
Rest In Peace with our Lord and Savior.

So sorry to hear of your passing. Fly free and peaceful with Chance Judie Bob and Joan. Fond memories of all the family times in Florida with Judie Gene Joan Dick Bev Billy Holly and all of our kids.  Rest easy ❤️

Dad,
You will be missed and never forgotten.  You were a great father and showed strength and stability throughout my life.  You were always there for me when times were tough and hope to duplicate your actions and share your support with my children and other loved ones. 

Although your memory still lives on in my heart, we are excited to share a celebration of your life at the Serenity Funeral Home and Gardens Memorial Park in Largo, Florida on Saturday, November 17th at 11am.  Am asking all friends, relatives, neighbors, and loved ones to join us to help remember and rejoice of a life well lived.  

I love you father and look forward to seeing you placed next to one of your beloved sisters right across from the rose garden at this beautiful place.  Was so lucky to be your son and can't wait to see others whose life you also touched soon.
