William was born February 8, 1947 in Greenwich, Connecticut to Marjorie McKenzie and William James Teufel.
He was a dedicated real estate broker, an alumnus of St. Petersburg Junior College and the University of Tampa. He earned his Bachelor degree at the University of Tampa while also an acting member of Sigma Chi Rho and PI Kappa Alpha Fraternity. William had a passion for music, concerts, gardening, his family, and walking on the beach. His vibrant spirit and love for life will be deeply missed.
William is survived by his brother, Timothy Shawn Teufel (Val); sister, Catherine Teufel Hilferty (Tim); longtime companion, Daleen Madden; two nephews, four nieces, and their 12 children.
Bill had a big heart that cherished his friends and family deeply. He had nicknames for everyone he loved and kept his friends for a lifetime. He will be forever known has Uncle Buck to his nieces and nephews. Some of the family’s favorite quotes are:
