My Dearest Uncle Alan,
Your memory lives on in all of us that knew and loved you. Thank you for being an incredible man I will always respect and cherish. My deepest sympathy to all of the family. May your hearts be comforted.


Tito Alan, you have always and will always be like a 2nd father to me... from the moment i met Ilan you welcomed me into your family like another son. I'll always remember the fond moments at your house and hearing your big jolly voice all the time. 

Seeing you during Ilans wedding and how proud and overjoyed you were... I wish i was able to see you when i was in Vegas last year so i could have introduced you to my then Fiance and now my Wife. 

I know how much you loved your family and I know you'll be watching them for the rest of their lives. 

Your memory will live on and stories will be shared about how an amazing person you have always been.

Please say hi to Mom for me and give her that big Tito Alan hug we all know and love!

Our sincerest condolences to CC and Alan’s family. We were fortunate to have met Alan  when we moved to Regency and have treasured the friendship over the years. We will never forget his laughter, his wit and his wonderful singing. Alan had a unique way of making you always feel welcome in his home and always found the time to spend with you. Alan loved & praised CC and was truly a “family” man. He was proud of all his children & loved his grandchildren so much!

Dear Josh,

I am writing to express my deepest condolences on the loss of your father. I know that this must be an incredibly difficult time for you and your family, and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I had the pleasure of knowing your father, and I can say with certainty that he was a truly great person in every sense of the word. He was a smart, sharp, and talented businessman who always had a clear vision for his work. I always admired his leadership and how he inspired the people around him to achieve more. He was not only a great businessman but also a kind and good Jewish man who always showed respect and care to his people. He was a true asset to the world, but more importantly, he was a loving and devoted father to you and your family. He was always there for you, and I know that he loved you deeply.

I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to Alan's wife and his entire family and friends on his demise. I am one of his dearest and long time friends 70+ years and will miss him greatly.

To C.c. And the Bacher Family we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of our loved friend Alan.  Alan and I met in school and continued our friendship over all these years where with each phone conversation just picked up where we left off.  We shared our joys and our heartaches - we laughed and we cried - and shared our love of laughter.   We treasure the memories of the times we were together.  A treasured memory is having a friend pick us up at college and as she drove over the Manhattan Bridge had an anxiety attack where she put the car into park where with horns honking Alan jumped into the drivers seat and drove the car across the bridge - when we all caught our breath told us he didn't have a license!!
Alan was my brother from another mother and will always be in my heart forever... until we meet again on the other side.  Sleep well my dear Alan - May your memory be for many blessings 💔

Still i am at a loss for your passing. You have always been kind, nurturing, protective, accepting and loving of me. There are alot of things you have taught me about life and family and i will cherish  them until the day we will meet again. There are alot i want to say to you, but for now, all i can think of is, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for everything. Please know I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. You and Alan were the first people I met, the day I moved in. I opened the door and there was Alan sitting on my bench by the door with a bottle of wine saying welcome, neighbor! What a warm welcome!

Agnes and I are saddened to learn of the passing of my old friend, Alan.

Alan was, at times, “larger than life”, and that’s one of the things that made him so memorable and it is why so many of our fellow Erasmus Hall High School folks were shocked to learn of his passing.

May all members of Alan’s loving family remember only the happy and special times to keep him in your hearts “forever”.
