Alexis Gest

Born on March 16, 1948 in Indiana. Alexis was the daughter of Harold and Mabel Staton. She was their third daughter. Linda, Cynthia, and Harold were her siblings. She was married to Jack Gest for 20 years. Alexis had one child, Cynthia, who lives in Arizona.

Alexis was a kind hearted person with a big personality and she loved animals. Alexis loved to go out and feed birds and stray cats in the neighborhood. She was a very smart and giving person. She also loved to go out to shows and have fun. She loved to gamble too. The last few years she was taken care of by a caregiver, Iliana, who was her best friend.

Later in life, Alexis found great meaning in her faith and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She especially treasured her friendship with Kerry O'Brien, who called her daily to share conversations about the Bible and their faith.

Alexis leaves behind her sister, Cynthia Ries, daughter, Cynthia, niece, Kristy Staton, and all her cousins nephews and nieces who loved her very much.

A visitation will be held at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120, US, on September 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at the same location on September 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
