Alfredo Sales Paez

Alfredo Sales Paez, 79, passed away on December 21, 2023. He was born on October 15, 1944 in Manila, Philippines. Alfredo is survived by his loving wife, Lourdes Paez; and their children, Josie, May, Bobby, and Paul. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teodora Paez. Alfredo earned a vocational certificate as a machinist in the Philippines. He immigrated to the United States where his first job was as a cabbage cutter. Alfredo served in the Vietnam War and graduated at the top of his class as a specialist in the Army. He then petitioned his family to follow him to the United States. Alfredo continued using his skills at Stanford University. After, he was hired by United Airlines in San Francisco where he obtained an Airframe and Powerplant license. Alfredo was an Interior Lead and worked in the engine shop. Following many years in the workforce, he decided to retire in 2003 with his wife, Lourdes, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Even at the end of his life, Alfredo always found a way to smile and laugh, especially from his 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Loving, generous, and selfless by nature; Alfredo will be missed by many.

A viewing and celebration of life will take place on the 18th of January 2024 between 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89113. Mass will be held on the 19th of January 2024 at 11:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89118.
