Alice Feng-Yun Song, age 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023.
Born to the late Shih Chieng-Nan and Song Yeh-Uo on August 2, 1943 in Taiwan, Alice received an associate degree from National Chengchi University and married Robert Tao-Fa Song in 1966. Together they lived in Taipei, Taiwan before moving the whole family to the U.S. in 1982.
In Alice's world, music and flowers intertwined to create a moving symphony. The notes of a captivating melody or the sight of exquisite flower arrangements filled her heart with joy. But above all else, her family was the sun that warmed her existence.
A devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, Alice's love knew no bounds. Life, with its formidable challenges, could never dampen her spirit. Even when fate dealt her an aggressive and rare cancer, she stood unwavering, refusing to yield. The fight she put forth was inspirational, as she braved various treatments and endured the arduous side effects.
Through it all, she had but one profound reason to keep pushing forward—to grasp every precious second with those she held dear. Alice shall forever be remembered and celebrated for her tenacity and the depth of her devotion to those she loved.
Robert survives Alice, along with their children Julie, Anne, and George; son-in-law Ken; grandchildren Kevin, Adeline, and Tristan; and granddaughter-in-law Keshia.
At this time, private family services are being planned.
