Allen Jackson

Allen Jackson, 74, passed away at home on June 7, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on August 27, 1951 in New York, New York, Allen lived a vibrant and full like marked by dedication to his family, friends, career and community. Allen grew up in New York City and the Bronx, where he attended school before embarking on a journey of service and entrepreneurship. In 1972, during the Vietnam War era, he enlisted in the Army to serve his country. After being honorably discharged in 1974, Allen began building a career in the life insurance industry, starting as an independent agent. His hard work and determination led him to a management position and eventually he established his own life insurance agency. He successfully ran the business until his retirement in 2011.

Retirement marked a new chapter for Allen. He and Linda had married in Las Vegas in 1991, and he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of moving there with her and his son, Allen Jr. While he initially enjoyed the leisure of retirement, his entrepreneurial spirit soon called him back into action. Inspired by his experiences caring for both his parents and Linda's, and his service in the Army, they founded Care Solutions of Southern Nevada in 2013, a home care agency specializing in assisting veterans and their surviving spouses. Over the years, the business grew steadily under Allen's leadership, serving deserving clients and employing dedicated caregivers who shared his vision of compassionate care.

Allen embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He loved traveling and had a particular passion for visiting baseball stadiums across the country. Living in Las Vegas, he indulged in all the city had to offer - its casinos, shows, and diverse dining experiences. Allen delighted in exploring new places, often setting off with no more than a full tank of gas and an idea. He loved to tell stories, recounting tales from his youth or sharing recent adventures, and had a gift for bringing them to life, no matter how many times you heard them before.

Allen was known for his humor, intelligence, and generosity, always willing to lend a hand or share advice with those around him. His warmth and unique perspective left an indelible mark on all he met.

Allen is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children Andrea Fernandez, Hannah Forsythe, Camille Crawford and Allen M Jackson Jr.; twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; his sister Betty Williams, and a host of nieces and nephews. he was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Aline Stewart; sister Mary Johnson; brother Leslie Jackson; and his daughter Jennifer Jackson. Allen's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and fondly remembered as a true "one of a kind."

A Private Memorial Service will be held for the family.
