Amelia Guerra Esquivel, 81, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012. She is survived by her husband, of 58 years, Nazario Sr.; sons, Nazario Esquivel, Aurelio (Nerie) Esquivel and Jose Esquivel; daughters, Marie Esquivel, Francisca (Jaime) Garcia and Amelia Miller; grandchildren, Stephanie, Meledie, Carlos, Michael, Vasuki, Chastity, Gina, Michelle, Anthony and one due soon; brother, Armando (Maria) Guerra; and sisters, Delia (Manuel) Franco, Alicia (Joe) Longoria and Petra (Santos) Chavarria. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Maria Trinidad Esquivel and Juanita Esquivel; and brothers, Felix Guerra, Espiridion Guerra and Robert Guerra. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Burial following, at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
