Ana Maria Hernandez de Lopez

The family of Ana Maria Hernandez de Lopez is deeply saddened to announce her peaceful passing on May 28, 2026 at the age of 66 in her home. Born in La Barca Jal., Mexico on January 9, 1960 she was the child of Arturo Hernandez and Ana Maria Estrada. She grew up with two older brothers and four younger sisters. Ana soon discovered her interests in cosmetology and hospitality. During her late teen-years Ana visited her brothers in South Lake Tahoe, California where she met her loving life partner Jesus Lopez Grajeda. They were married in March 1979 in Buenavista Jal., Mexico and they shared 47 beautiful years together. Anita took joy in taking care of her home and family, traveling, shopping, hosting family and friends and her occasional trips to the casino. Ana will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her great humor and desire to make people feel at home. Anita has reunited with her beloved grandson Johnny and she will be lovingly remembered by her husband Chuy; her daughters Claudia, Jessica and Mireya; her grandchildren Alexsia, Adrian, Sophia, Julian, Mariela, Mateo and great grandson Alonzo.
