Angela Leigh Clifton, 47, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, lost her battle with breast cancer Feb. 20, 2011. She was born May 2, 1963, in Houston, and was a 44-year resident of Nevada. Angela was preceded in death by her father, Claude R. Clifton Jr.; maternal grandmother, Zeffie Sawyer; and great-aunt, Leah Williams. Angela is survived by her son, Cody; daughter, Savanah; mother, Bobbie Sue Clifton; sisters, Cherie Wood (Gary), Desiree Walker (Hershel) and Leah Berglund (Baird); brother, Claude Clifton III; nephews, Hershel Walker, Sean Patterson and Erik Wood; nieces, Christina Kirkpatrick (Rick), Chelise Clifton and Erin Wood; great-niece, Tabitha Denlinger; great-nephew, Garrett Clifton; uncle, Larry Middleton (Carol); and two cousins. Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Donations can be made to Family Home Hospice and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Association.
