Angie Ginger Cochran, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away on August 16, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV.
Born Angelina Dorotea Torres Sanchez in Mexico City to Job and Lidia Torres on December 10, 1942; she grew up in a large family and had two kids of her own before departing to America on her own to pursue a new life.
From America, she travelled the world as a dancer until finally settling down as a wife and mother in Las Vegas. She entered politics briefly and was the Democratic primary winner for the 2004 US House of Representatives race for Nevada District 2.
Angie is survived by her husband Gary Cochran; children German and Salvador Arechiga (from first marriage) and Carl Cochran (from final marriage); six of her siblings; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial of her ashes will be held on her property in Pahrump before the end of the year.
