

Anita Hostonal Domdom, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully at home on the afternoon of Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was born June 25, 1941 in Camarines Sur, Philippines to Zoilo and Benita Hostonal. She is survived by Ruben Domdom, her high school sweetheart and husband of 54 years.
Also surviving are her three beloved children, eldest son Noel Domdom and daughter Lea Domdom Chua, both of Las Vegas, and Ruben “Benjie” Domdom of San Diego, CA. Anita leaves behind grandchildren: Janelle, RJ, Jolica, Kei, Dominique, Jessica, Sophia, Jiro, Zoilo, and Yuji, and great-grandchildren: Ronin Marcellus and Perseus Maximus Clay.
Both her father and mother preceded her in death.
She and her family resided in Las Pinas, Philippines before moving to the United States in 1988. Later, she immigrated with her family to San Diego, CA. Anita had resided in Las Vegas from 1994 to 2000, and after a brief time back in San Diego, she returned to Las Vegas in 2002 and remained there since. She enjoyed taking extended trips back to the Philippines to the house she continued to maintain with Ruben.
She attended Albay High School and pursued a profession in cosmetology.
Anita loved to travel as well as dote on her grandchildren, spend time with family, read books, go to the casino and play slots, and watch International news and horror movies.
Viewing and visitation is from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Palm Mortuary – Southwest, 7979 W. Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas, NV. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10:00 am at Christ The King Catholic Church, located on 4925 South Torrey Pines Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Father Frank Yncierto will be officiating. Anita’s ashes will be returned to the Philippines later this year.
