Anita Mary Martinat

She was born August 17, 1932 in Ely, Nevada to Charles and Lena Ciciliano. She met and married Donald Martinat, Marsing, Idaho, in Las Vegas on March 31, 1952.

Anita spent the early years of her marriage traveling to many Air Force Bases with her husband and five children, earning her the loving nickname “Squaw.” The family settled in Las Vegas after Don’s retirement. Despite the loss of her husband in 1976, Anita enjoyed many years watching her family grow and prosper. Her greatest joy came from spending time with family doing things she enjoyed: hunting and fishing.

Anita is survived by her daughters Cheryl McRae (Tom), Linda Henderson (Skip), Mary Lou Martinat and Teresa Martinat, all of Las Vegas. Grandchildren Levi Kiefer, Eric Henderson, Angela Talamantes, Shauna Henderson, Chanze Raffaelli, eight great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.

Visitation will start of 9am, September 15, 2017 at Palm Eastern Mortuary. Burial will be at 12 noon at Palm Eastern Cemetery.
