Anne McCabe Vielandi passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2023. She was 91. Born March 12, 1932 in New York City to Walter and Rosanna McCabe, she was the oldest of five - Walter (Buster), Lily, Beatrice (Snooky) and Jimmy. She married in 1952, a marriage that produced three children. She was a stay at home mom for the next 20 years. Upon becoming single in 1972, a new world opened up for her. She was hired as the front desk receptionist at Albert Einstein hospital, working her way up to floor secretary of NICU where she was loved and admired by her coworkers - "Her Nurses". Her dedication, love and compassion for others was her gift and it fulfilled her all of her remaining years. This beautiful, fun-loving, warm and giving lady is survived by her son Arthur (Joanne), daughter Deborah Rico (Rick) and son Vincent. Also her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held in New York in the spring – Anne's favorite time of year. She will be so missed by all.
