Hi Daddy, I forget to ask you, did you see Dante Saturday when he got to heaven? As you know it was so hard losing him but I know you will take care of him for me, he was always such a kind gentle and wonderful man,  just like you, he never let me down but the last few weeks he slowed down and cancer took over so I sent him to you... be happy together, watch over us lots, we love you both???

Hi Daddy, God I miss you so much, there is a lump in my throat that I don't think will ever go away... its been a while since I wrote to you, busy busy you know me!!!
Angelica moved in with Sam and I, we love her, she's a good girl and I offered her a chance to start her life here, if you're watching you could see she is so much like me at her age. remember when I decided to move Mommy went nuts and said we're coming too??? Well Fran just put the house up for sale today, and said "we're coming too", she's scared but excited also and I feel its the right thing to do being that she's been wanting out of NJ for so long, please watch over her and guide her to a peaceful, healthy, happy life.
So Daddy I did it!!! I had my stomach reduced last week, "you crazy" I remember those words when I told you what I was going to do in July. As you were passing I told you "don't worry daddy if it doesn't work out I will see you soon", well so far so good, it was very very hard on me, but I'm feeling better after only one week and I know you are watching over me always, I have no doubt that this surgery will be a complete success, my biggest regret is that you won't see me half my size running around someday, but then again you will, you are always with me, always and forever I love you so so much!!! My brother Jack, he was the worlds best  son ,brother , husband.father,uncle.i wll always remmeber when we came to america feb 14, 1949  i was five and ahalf  you were 19.   Mom and her brother Angelo  were born in  louisvill il . when she was 5 and brother 3 her parents went back to sicily,she married and had 6 childern,Maria , joesphine ,you ,carmela, vinny ,and me to you i was always your baby sister ninett.  our mother was able to bring 5 of her 6 unmarried childern  ti america,our pop was left behind with our oldest sis maria she was married. Pop came8 years later and maria came 15 years later.thats how long it took to make the  paper work to enter  u s a . Well to me  and Vinny you were our dad more to me,i would go to you for every thing when mom would not give us a quarter for the hot dogs i would come to you . i only remmber mom working in the sweat shops.SO being you  worked in bake shope, for uncle angelos pastry shope  were we  had the apt ,up staris from the bakery,thats why everday i saw you  you stood up for me and vinny, you protecded me and him . thats why My Heart  has a SPECIAL SPOT THAT WILL ALWAYS BE THERE TILL WE MET SOME DAY, JACK every day i think of you ,i wish you could have held on to oct  .I know you tried we were coming to se you viny ,carmela . and me,.the last words you said to me was NINETT i am trying. This goes through my head ever day ninett ninett thats what you called me when i was little i love the way you would say  my name ninett. i miss your CALLS now  of hi  NINETT.WHAT ARE YOU DOING?  your with pop mom maria joesphine your first wife joesi  i loved her so much to and all our dead family. jack look down on us  specialy maria  blees  us . we miss and love you  your baby sister NINETT

Hi Daddy, its been over 5 weeks since you left me now, I miss you so much. I try to go on with my everyday life but not much time goes by where I'm not thinking about you and something comes to mind and  I wish you were there.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. It is not easy forgetting how wonderful he was when we were growing up and as one of your best friends he would treat me as though he had two daughters.

Hi, its your other daughter Maria, the one who used to get your first daughter always into mischief.. . . Spending all those hours in Maria's bedroom listening to music so loud that you would bang on the bakery walls yelling at us. Or we would sneak into the bakery shop in back to grab some cookies and knock some other things over and break them and then we would hear about it from you the next day.

But your discipline was not the normal kind a parent would give out, it was usually like this:

"Okay come on let's go, we're going to the diner"!! 

I am truly sorry I never made the trip out to visit you and Maria in Las Vegas, when your family left it truly left a hole in my heart, my best friend's family was leaving to a place that seemed like it might as well have been another country!

Although it's now over 30 years you left New Jersey, I still promise to visit your "first" daughter Maria & her husband Sam within the next 5 years when we will be 60.

I want to thank you for being such a kind hearted special person in my life. I had a strict up bringing but you would always be easy with me. You even went as far as asking permission from my own father to bring me along on a trip to Florida.

Now that was special!!

Today its been a week since we laid my Daddy to rest.
 I still miss him so much I have so many visions of him in front of my eyes,its so hard to keep them from filling up with tears, my heart aches so much. I miss his voice, I miss his smile, I will never stop missing or loving him.

Jack you were always there for me as a kid growing up in Hackensack NJ.  When I came home from school, I went right to the pastry shop you always asked me Roseanna are you hungry?  And always made me my favorite after school snack, a canoli. When we moved to Florida and you and Jo came to visit, you always looked for me and Charlie to be with you every night to go out to dinner and the track.  All of the tracks, trotters, dogs and the horses.  If any animal was running we were betting. You always had at least five tickets on 214 & 215 boxed, trifecta, you name it and Jack had it.  I'm going to miss you and I always loved you dearly.  You were like a big brother.  We had a lot of laughs, fun and great memories.  Say hello to everyone up there and give them all a big hug. Daddy for the last two days I've been running around getting ready for Aunt Carmela, Aunt Annette, Fran and Angelica and Sam to arrive on Friday. I am really happy and excited that they are coming but they not coming for a happy time, they are coming because of you're passing and to honor you, you were their big brother and the best uncle to Fran, they loved you so much ???
I miss you so much and I'm going to show them around Vegas because I know 
that's what you would want me to do. It wont be the same without you, life will 
never be the same without you, I miss you sooooooooo much and will love you  
forever and ever and ever.
I really miss our talks and visits and I am trying to care for Millie as much as she
will allow, you know how tough she is, but I know we will manage even though 
the hole in our hearts will never be filled.
You know twice in the last few days there was a hummingbird hanging around 
My patio I was wondering if that was you checking on me ???

such a kind, wonderful, honest, sincere man and I know everyone is enjoying you
