On July 20,1958 Arkady married Maria Kats. In 1980 Maria and Arkady moved to the United States of America. in the 1950's he was a member of the Soviet Sailing Team, boating and traveling were his passions. Arkady worked as an electrical engineer both in Russia and the USA. He always put his wife and family first, and loved his grandchildren very much.
Arkady is survived by his wife Maria Kats; son Edward (Irina) Kats; grandchildren Stephanie and Steven; and niece Alla Gribova.
He was predeceased by his parents, and sister Sofia Shekhter.
A funeral service for Arkady will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 11:00 AM at King David Cemetery, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120.
