My heart really goes to each and everyone of you!  No words can really express how I feel, Tita will really be missed.  I will miss the time that when I would come over the house, she would always ask me, "did you eat yet?" And even if I said I did eat, she would prepare something or say "Kain na," and there would be some sort of snack on the table.  I also love and will miss when she will talk about playing the organ.  Tita was the best!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Sister Arlene. She was a dedicated organist and loving friend. Her three daughters grew up with our four children and they are like part of our family. She and ka Genet and three children were very dedicated officers in the church . We still can’t believe she’s gone . We will really miss her !

I remember Sis. Arlene as a great organist and mom.  Always kind and loving with smiling eyes. Many fond memories with your family back in Lemoore (esp w Leleng as my 1st friend there). I still remember all the special CWS choir moments/ spiritual practices, writing down all the hymn #s on the line-up sheets she would pass out and writing out the beats & counts on our hymns. Little moments that I remember from when I was young.. but looking back, I think those earliest memories is where my faith grew. My deepest condolences to the Tiangco/Calma family po. Ka Arlene was a very integral part of my life. She was always so kind to me during choir practices, essentially became my choir buddy who asked if I had my hymns (haha). 

She was always willing to give me a hand and was always thinking of my family and me.  Even when she moved to Las Vegas, she would still email me despite our distance! Ka Arlene, po, I know this is not a goodbye but a see you later. You truly finished your race. You will continue to be my inspiration to hold on to my duties po.

I've known Tita Arleen for just a short while but I will never forget her. From that day we met at our choir practice we always sit together talk a lot of things, our family, especially how we love our holy duty as a choir. We got more closer because she and Tito Genesis always picks me up and drop me off from home and to the chapel everytime we perform in the choir. Tita, I'm so sad that I haven't got the chance to talk to you since the pandemic started and now I'm much more lonely knowing that I will never get the chance to see or talk to you again. I will miss you so much! You have finished your race Tita. Rest in peace now until we see each other again... ❤️💐

My deepest condolences, I love you all very much and am truly sorry.  I will always keep in my heart your mom’s big smile and the many times joking with her every time I saw her.   Also, the many times she spoke to me in Tagalog and then realized she had to translate everything she just said and smack me on the shoulder.   I will never forget how good her food was, my mom bragged about it all the time.  I won’t forget the times she offered me food but also reminded me that I’m getting fat. I am grateful that you all moved to Chicago for a while so I got to spend more time around her and become even closer as a family.  Auntie you were deeply loved and will be missed but you will never be forgotten from my heart.

I've only known Ka Arlene briefly from my few encounters during my visits in Chicago. But from those few encounters, she took care of me, welcomed me to her home, and every morning I was at their house, she cooked breakfast for me, made me coffee, and ALWAYS had a smile on her face when she talked to me. 

She was a reflection of her daughters and the way she raised them.  She was a middle-child (middle children rock), she drove stick, she was a choir member, and as one of her sisters told me, she was always the caretaker of their siblings. She never failed to take care of those around her, and she was always the bright soul around everyone. 

She finished her race and I'm thankful that I was given the opportunity to experience those moments with her, no matter how small.

       I am so thankful for all the memories we have had over the years. I am thankful you moved closer to us so that we were able to see each other more. I am thankful for your cooking because we all know my mom wasn’t the cook of all the aunties:) I am so thankful that you were able to meet Ethan, even for a short time. I promise to always share our family stories to him and have him never forget you. And for as long as my baby cousin(😉), leng, is in Illinois, we will always take care of her. Has anyone mentioned she's a great cook/baker?? well she's super skillful and talented, always placing others before her especially her family.

When I moved to Chicago, the Tiangco/Calma family took me in with open arms. In such a short period of time I felt so much love being in their home. I send my love and heart to the entire family, to Uncle, to my sisters, Kuyas, and especially the kids.

Tita Arlin was my Chicago Mom. I’d wake up in the morning or get to the house before work and there she was sitting in the kitchen. She always asked me if I wanted cream  with my coffee even though she knew I drank it black (it was an every morning chuckle). I had many mornings sitting with her talking about life, love and faith. I loved her humor, I loved her stories of her past and her smile through her eyes.  But the most special gift was her encouraging words to remain active in my duty. I love you more than I got to express and thank you for the mornings and heart to hearts.

Auntie, thank you for being one of my inspirations in becoming an organist. It was you and Ate Gena who sparked my desire to learn how to play hymns. I’ll never forget and will be forever grateful for your dedication and positive attitude ♥️♥️

The DeLeon clan has always put family first, and Auntie Arlene was proof of that. Mom always had stories of Auntie taking care of her when they were little and finding happiness being with family and the ones we love. I remember Auntie having a "heart-to-heart" with me on our way to Minnesota in 2012. I don't remember the occasion, but we all booked a Megabus to travel there, and on one of our breaks to stretch our legs, it was just me and Auntie walking around the parking lot. She told me to take care of my parents, to take care of Mama... she told me to remain studious, but above all else, to put God and my duties first. Auntie used to play the piano at our house...that's how she taught my Kuya to read notes and eventually become an organist, like her. Auntie was always so faithful in her duties, and I will never forget that. I am thankful her lessons, her delicious palabok, her teasing and her jokes, her technology questions when she would get locked out of her iPad...I am thankful for so many memories with Auntie. She is truly missed and loved by us all. Sending all my love to my Tiangco/Aglipay/Calma family, and of course the DeLeon Clan. Family is forever.

We always considered you all family from the moment we moved to Lemoore..I remember your blue van when you would drive us all to Fresno or Orosi for choir practice po and even drive through KFC aftwe practices heheh..those were such fun memories po💜💜

It was truly a blessing having Ka Arlin as our organist in Monterey. Her love for the choir and love for her duty was inspiring to many. My fondest memories of Tita Arlene are in a powder blue Ford Aerostar. From driving us to choir practice, district activities & even after school activities, nothing comes close to that feeling that was almost like home. Last picture I have of Tita is when we were at the Bronx Zoo, and I’m not even in it, but I found a bday card telling me not to waste all the $ on Burger King or Applebee’s, she knew me well. Tita Arlene did it all, gave all and still kept up her iconic hair.

Our hearts ache for the passing of our beloved Sister Arlene. Her steadfast faith and dedication in her office as a choir member has always been an inspiration to our family. We will miss Mama very much! Our love to all of you during this most difficult time.

My mom, Ka. Gaye was devastated when she heard the news of Sis Arlene’s passing. Listening to her stories of their younger years in the locale of Lemoore as choir members. She always talked so highly of Sis Arlene being the best organist ever and them sharing good times. And how they traveled to different locales back in the day for either choir practice or helping another locale for special worship service. But my mom was also reminded, that the biggest blessing of all is her passing while a faithful member of the Church of Christ and they will see each other again in Heaven. Auntie Arlene you will be missed but never forgotten. My fondest memories of Arlene was her beauty inside / out.... loving, kind and compassionate, always have ears to listen to your problems, ready to lend a helping hand, She was the right hand of Mommy Rebing in their household. She always smile , even she had her own hurts and pain. She was very prayerful.
