Arthur G McGill

We are sad to announce the passing of Arthur Guth McGill on September 19,2023. Born on March 3, 1935, in West Virginia to parents Helen Guth McGill and Arthur L. McGill Senior, along with his sister Marla Schafer and brother Gerald McGill (deceased). With many stages in life, we honor his accomplishments and joys in life with awe. Arthur, after obtaining a bachelor’s degree, served in the army in Germany in cryptography, he drove a cab for a while then worked as the manager for the Ace Union cab company for over 37 years. He enjoyed various hobbies including flying and he accomplished a pilot’s license, camping, boating, golf and traveling. Appreciating and enjoyed his collection of lighthouses and artworks and loved Tweety Bird. Arthur loved his dogs throughout the years with his last surviving girl Brandy. Arthur is lovingly remembered and survived by his partner of 57 years Clark McKinlay and his sister Marla Schafer. When asked “How are you?” he would always reply “Wonderful”
