Aurora was a chemist. She graduated from University of Santo Tomas. She was a professor and a licensed Customs Broker in Manila. She Initiated and supported Far East Cargo(SF) with her sister Ida Mendoza and nephew Jovi Mendoza for numerous years - transporting thousands of Balikbayan boxes from SF to the Philippines.
She retired at age 55 from AMA Brokerage but continued her successful career as a builder, realtor, investor. She built 3 boutique hotels in Boracay namely Milflores De Boracay, Boracay Hideaway and Secret Garden. She constructed several townhouses in Intramuros and apartments in Batangas City and a home in Buruanga, Aklan. Nanay continued to buy and sell properties up to end. Real estate is her niche and she even enjoys being with her contractors and carpenters during construction of every building.
Nanay dedicated her life loving and serving her husband, Justiniano and her 8 children and grandchildren. Nanay traveled all over the world with her husband and took all her kids to United States to see Disneyland and San Francisco when they were young and single. Nanay is a vibrant, positive, loving, generous and energetic person - always setting goals for herself and accomplishing them in a timely fashion. Her zest for life is exhibited in gardening, eating the best food, shopping, traveling and just hanging around her husband, kids, apos, sisters and friends. Her laughter is sweet and contagious and enjoys even a corny joke according to a friend she met in Maryland.
Nanay lived a full, productive, happy and amazing life. She taught her kids the values of being practical, simple and thrifty, to live with integrity, dignity and good principles and to always treat any person with respect, love and generosity.
Nanay will be missed dearly especially by her husband Justin, her 8 fun-loving kids and in-laws, beautiful apos and three surviving sisters - Tita Bigie, Tita Marge and Tita Ida who are all very dear to her heart. From the bottom of our heart Nanay Salamat po sa lahat ng pagmamahal ninyo sa Amin. We will see you again Nanay.
