He was born on May 10, 1936 to his parents Juan Acob and Bonifacia Ramos in Pasuquin, llocos Norte, Philippines.
He immigrated to the US in 1977, leaving his family in the Philippines, and they soon joined him in 1978.
He worked as a Farm Laborer in Delano, California until 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cresencia (Presing) Acob; daughters Nida Corpuz, Nenet Alejo, and Nancy Owens; son Jeam Acob; sons-in-law Samuel Corpuz and Troy Owens; grandchildren Rick Corpuz, Tracy Alejo-Negrillo, Jenny Corpuz, Kimberly Alejo, Jenna Acob, Jeam Acob Jr. and Javen Acob; great-grandchildren Sommer Negrillo, Kevin Corpuz, Ashlyn Negrillo, Paige Negrillo, Raina Famous, Richen Famous Jr. and Logan Negrillo; siblings Maria Paino (deceased), Inocencia Balanay (deceased), Luciano Acob (deceased), Santiago Dalere (deceased), Visitacion Balanay, Esmenia Agbayani, Adela Dalere and Clarita Aguinaldo; nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.
