Benjamin Cleo Hill 2/7/1927 – 10/12/2021

Benjamin was born in Madison, Tennessee into a loving family. After graduating high school, Ben joined the US Army in 1946 and was stationed in Germany where he met his loving wife Kornelia. Kornelia and Ben were married for over 60 years and settled into their home in Colorado Springs, CO. Ben retired after 20 years in the Army and then spent another 20 years working in Civil Service at Peterson Air Force Base where he delivered documents to NORAD.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his wife Kornelia; his oldest son Benjamin E Hill; and stepdaughter Gisela Dumaine.

Benjamin had a significant impact on many because of his caring and loving nature – He was always concerned for others and is survived by daughter Sylvia Klaver [son-in-law Kreg]; son Robert Hill; daughter Rose Marie Hill; granddaughters, Alison Klaver, Connie Hill, Heidi O’Sheehan; grandsons Benjamin L Hill, Kreg Klaver, Bobbie Hill, George Dumaine, Andre Dumaine; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Benjamin was small in stature but had a heart of a lion. He was loved by many, and we will miss him dearly.

Dad you were always there for all of us. You were always so kind to everyone. I will miss you so very much. Thank you for all you did for myself and our family. You were generous, sweet, sincere. You always showed concern for others over yourself. You touched my life in so many ways. I will think of you every day. I’ll never forget our walk to look at the harvest moon. I miss you Dad! You will always be with me.

Benjamin Hill (Pau pau) is my grandpa and I have had so many great memories with him and I miss him dearly. My life has definitely felt so much different not having him or Mau Mau (his wife) here still. I won't 4get going to McDonald's for coffee or sitting out front smoking and him telling me all about how the world has changed. I miss you pau pau

Although I had only met Ben a short while ago, it was a pleasure and an honor to know him. His loving, gentle spirit filled the room. I know his kindness and love will live on in everyone whom he knew and loved.

What a beautiful man Benjamin was. I was so blessed 39 years ago to meet his daughter Sylvia and marry into this family. Ben [Pau Pau] was always there for his family and will be missed . We learned a lot from Ben and we will continue on with his teachings.
God bless the family
Love Kreg
