Benny Madrid was born in a small town in Mexico on November 20, 1956. From a young age, he developed a passion for music, becoming an accomplished drummer and starting to travel with bands at just 14 years old. His love for music was the driving force of his life, a passion he would carry with him for the rest of his days.
In the 1980s, Benny moved to Las Vegas, where he met the love of his life, Susan. Together, they raised two incredible children- Brian and Megan- who were the light of Benny’s life. Benny also has two beloved daughters in Mexico- Yisel and Roxana. He was immensely proud of all his children. His family was his heart and his greatest joy.
Benny was not just a devoted husband and father; he was also a loyal friend, a cherished brother, and a gifted musician. He had an everlasting sense of humor, the sharpest wit, and a personality that could breathed life and joy everywhere he went. Despite his larger-than-life presence, Benny was known for his kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit.
A man who truly lived for music, Benny found joy in playing or listening to it every day. Whether he was behind the drums or simply enjoying a song, his connection to music was deep and enduring. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments with family and friends.
Benny will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his wife, Susan; his son, Brian; his daughters, Yisel, Roxana and Megan; his two beautiful grandchildren; and all who had the privilege of knowing him
