Bounie was born January 5,1944 in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Las Vegas in 1988 where she enjoyed being a homemaker for more than 30 years to her loving husband Jeffery, now deceased. She loved to cook and cook for everyone. She was famous for her meatballs and "gravy". Her chicken cutlets were "to die for". Bounie also loved to shop. You could find her on any given day with her sister at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. She was an avid knitter and she looked forward to her weekly knitting group gatherings with her friends Gail, Wendy and the others . She enjoyed only one thing more than her knitting and that was her family. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Sass; her brother, Robert Carbone; her daughter and son Sandra and Dino Nastasi; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Brian Loeffelholz; three grandchildren Brooke Heit, Bailey and Brighton Loeffelholz; and by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Bernice's loving memory. Arrangements handled by King David memorial chapel.
