Betty L Martin passed away on August 23, 2021 at the age of 85. She is survived by two sisters Carol and Bonnie and her brother Russell. She is also survived by her five grateful children Diane (EZ), David, Ron (Julie), James (Kathy), and Linda, 12 awesome grandchildren, 15 of the cutest great-grandchildren and expecting two more at the time of her passing.

Betty was born to a loving family in Hot Springs, Arkansas on May 13, 1936. In 1948, at the age of 12, Betty and family moved to Visalia, California. She later met the love of her Life, Fred F. Martin, and they married in 1953, bringing life to five children. In 1974, our family moved to Las Vegas where eventually family gatherings grew to 40-plus family members with multitudes of happy and loving memories to share.

Betty was not only an extraordinary mother of five, but a was also considered to be a second "mom" to our cousins, friends, neighbors, and in-laws. She was blessed with a big heart, making everyone feel like family and always welcomed. Betty was endeared by everyone that crossed her path and will be missed very much. She forever remains in our hearts and thoughts.

When I started my own family, Mom and I became great friends. After Dad passed, Mom and I lived together for over eight years, became best of friends, and had way too much fun.

But she was more than just my Mom, best friend and partner. She was the best cheer leader, confidante, listener, guidance counselor, comforter, sounding board, supporter, family conduit, anchor and home base to everyone that she loved.

She was a wonderful old-fashioned woman and most extraordinary Mom. I miss her so very much.
