Beverly Schreiber Eisen

November 21, 1943March 21, 2021

Beverly Schreiber Eisen, 77, passed peacefully at home on March 21, 2021.

Born on November 21, 1943 to William and Rose Schreiber, Beverly was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, where she “walked to and from school in the snow every day, uphill, both ways.” From the moment Beverly arrived in Las Vegas in March of 1963 with her husband and sweetheart since junior high school Barry D. Eisen, she was an active and beloved member of the community. Beverly served as a board member for the Chaparral High School Parent Advisory Council, Woodbury Jr. High School PTA, four elementary school PTAs, American Cancer Society Auxiliary, B’nai B’rith Women, Children’s Heart Foundation, Las Vegas Hadassah, National Kidney Foundation, Nevada Power Community Advisory Board, Temple Beth Sholom, UNLV Interfaith Student Center, Women’s American ORT and many more. In addition to a career working in the media, retail, legal and medical fields, Beverly was a proud and devoted wife, mother and Bubbe. She enjoyed attending sporting events, theater and shows of all types - from Broadway and Las Vegas performances to elementary school plays and band concerts. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bernard Schreiber, in-laws Albert and Mollie Eisen, brothers-in-law Robert W. Eisen and Stanley Eisen, sister-in-law Maxine Eisen, and niece Julie Eisen. She is survived by her husband Barry, sons Steven (Stacy), Robert (Karyne), Andrew (Diane), grandchildren Jonathan (Dayna), Adam Jacob, Hannah, and Reese, sisters in-law Anne Schreiber and Shirley Eisen, nieces and nephews Ellen Schreiber (Joseph Michaud), Bill Schreiber (Rita), Debbie Eisen (Con Erskine), Barry P. Eisen (Patti), Mark Eisen (Sarah) Greg Eisen (Lisa), numerous great and great great nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless others that only knew her as “Mom,” “Bubbe” or “Aunt Bev.” In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly’s name to Children’s Heart Foundation, https://chfn.kindful.com or Midbar Kodesh Temple, https://www.midbarkodesh.org/donate. King David handled the arrangements.

My sincerest and profound condolences to the entire Eisen & Schreiber families.
The unconditional love, care, support, respect, joy that Beverly constantly gave to everyone in her life, was alway genuine and selfless in nature. She was truly an amazing mother (just look at Andy, Bob and Steve, who has always been a true friend to me), wife (she and Barry truly complimented each other), grandmother (her loves and legacy) and friend to everyone. I was a recipient of her welcoming and open heart when I met her back in the early 1990's. I was always grateful and had not forgotten about our initial encounter. Her constant loving nature was truly contagious and one we should always strive for. There is no one in the world like a mother, there is no one in the world like Beverly. You will be greatly and dearly missed. We were all very lucky to have known her. But I have no doubt, that, wherever she may be going, it will be an equally beautiful place and she will be the brightest star.

Such a kind caring person. One of the first families we met over 40 years ago. My mom always said had 3 boys just like her. She was a pillar of her family. And understand the importance of family and faith. Sending strength the the entire Eisen family.

Barry was a classmate of mine in University City . Beverly graduated a year after me . We connected with them after we moved to Mesquite Nevada in 2009. We would go out to dinner with every time we drove into Vegas . My late girlfriend passed away in 2011. They attended our wedding in 2017 . My wife Sue and I adored Barry and Beverly . We had lunch with them in February when we were in town for a Super Bowl Party . Her passing really broke our hearts . She was so full of life and always had a good word to say. We will never forget her . RIP Bev

We have known Beverly since we moved here 41 years ago. We have shared many happy times with the entire family . Beverly helped our daughters write college resumes. And they were successful in getting into the colleges they wanted. We Remember her work at Beth Shalom and at schools our children attended. She was a smart and funny lady. She once told us she wore a size 5 shoe smaller size than my young girls shoes She was a community leader and a great friend to all. She made the world a better place. Stef, Alisa, Jodi and Mandi and of Course Simon all have fond memories of our times together. May she rest in peace

Our hearts go out to the whole Eisen clan. We've known you all forever, and growing up, the mom-collective with Bev in a lead role, was always in full force looking out for all of us (and sometimes we really needed looking out for!).

Bev was always super sweet, generous with her compliments and engaging. It was always a joy to see her smiling face and catch up. She was one of the few moms who had a strong Facebook game, too!

May her memory be a blessing to you all. We're sorry we can't be there for the service, but we are there in our hearts.
