I haven't know Bijon long it seems but every moment with him he always had a great big smile. He was always positive and trying to do more and be more just like his sisters. The passion and motivation he had I'm sure has inspired many to pursue their dreams. Let it continue to do so as he watching over all of us from above. 

I remember you as a little guy, time passes so quickly!   When we, my girls and mom, came to visit in Vegas you were just a young boy.  Even then you were so polite and thoughtful.   Many kids would be upset that their room was being taken over by someone else but not you!   You were very proud that Auntie Connie was staying in your room and you had helped mom make it extra clean and nice.   While we were there you also were the ultimate host to my daughters, you showed them  where ALL the good snacks were , in the walk in pantry where you had your own little stool to sit on!   It gives me some peace to know that surely you will become an angle  now able to help everyone just as you always wanted to here on earth, but now, in the grandest way possible.   Aunt Toni, Uncle Sy, Sophia, and Perisa I love you.  

I only got to know Bijon for a couple of months. When we first met, I was really shy but he immediately hugged me and complimented me. I grew really close to him. I spent nights at the hospital with him and we’d cuddle and laugh at American Dad or watch Shark Tank and judge the products on there. My favorite memory I have of him is when I surprised him at the hospital wearing a blue Eeyore onesie and he told me i looked like a giant 5 year old. He always made me smile. Bijon talked about his family with the highest esteem. I was lucky to meet the people who raised him. I love his family like my own. Bijon left a huge mark on my life. I will always remember the smile on his face when he would call me “Ditzy” and i would call him “Dopey”. Bijon lives on forever in my heart and mind. Forever. 

I didn’t get to meet you in person, I wish I would have! I remember 3 years ago when I found you all again and we chatted a few times on messenger. You welcomed me back, even thought you never knew me, you made me feel like you did. I could just feel your positive energy chatting. I love you always and Forever, Bijon. Thank you for welcoming me!

I remember once coming to pick up your mom before around her birthday, she was going to spend some time with me in the desert of Arizona, you were still young enough to be a boy but had been spending more time with your father more because you were becoming a man. You said thank you for coming by and were very protective of her, I hadnt seen you in a while but you said bye and that you loved "us", you were one of the first reasons I started to really think about how important personal impressions are.  There was this one time when your mom had told me to be respectful at all times around you, it was one thing to play and horse around with Perisa and the gang, but when it came to you it was to be nothing but manners and good behavior. Always a momma bear she was, but she also understood the importance of being in public and what it meant to be given and to be giving respect.  She was always raising you to be a gentleman. You both taught me a lesson of self awareness that I needed when I was younger.  I'll be paying my respects here and taking a walk of silence with me an my dog during the visitation times and during the burial times, I love all of and I'm there in spirit.  I will be up there as soon as I can pay my respects in person,

To Bijon’s family:  Though we have not met, I want you to know that Bijon had a huge impact on me.  I worked in Campus Ministry when he was at Bishop Gorman, and there was not a day that Bijon came around without a smile.  He was a gentle, kind, thoughtful ray of sunshine and I always enjoyed my time with him.  When I first heard about his cancer I called him very regularly and we chatted quite a bit.  It was great to see him at Gorman when he stopped by and was feeling better.  I just want you to know that, clearly, Bijon is in heaven.  He lived life the way we all should, and he will not be forgotten by me, I can tell you that for sure.  I am so sorry for your sadness.  Sincerely,  Susie Portz

I met Bijon twice.  I think it is a testament to what a beautiful spirit he has that I will never forget him.  He clearly loved and valued family more than many other people his age, or any age for that matter.  If there are angels, I am certain Bijon will be quickly recruited to spread his generous spirit to those in need throughout the world.  Wishing God's love and strength to those who loved this boy most, and the rest of those he touched.

I first met Bijon when I worked with him at the Boys and Girls Clubs. He was a young man, ready to graduate high school and was ready to head to college. Working with Bijon was a fun experience. Despite our differences in our work, Bijon was a very committed person. He loved the kids at Boys and Girls Club. He wanted to start a football team with the kids and became their coach. Bijon was ready to begin his life as an adult once he finished with high school and I saw the potential he had to make it into the world. The day I learned Bijon was diagnosed with cancer, I was heartbroken. He was a young man, and having to face this dilemma at this young is not normal for any young adult. Bijon was a fighter and he did what he needed to do to beat cancer. The last time I saw Bijon was at his cancer event. I never knew that day would be the last time I see him. Bijon was an amazing person, very dedicated and very loyal. He wasn’t just a co-worker, he was a friend. I will miss everything about Bijon. Until we meet again, I will miss you Bijon. 

In middle school we lived across the street from each other, and we would walk home from school together almost everyday with a group of friends. One Friday we were walking home with another friend and we had nothing planned so we headed over to his house, and hung out and I'll never forget him whipping out this trumpet/ horn thing. We laughed so much that day, we went outside and had an adventure all around the Apache pines down to the Walmart shopping center.💕
