Brock Lee Gregerson

Beloved husband, Brock Lee Gregerson, age 58, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on August 11, 2020. He was born on an Air Force base in Fukuoka, Japan, in January 1962, to Ronald and Harriet. His only brother, Scott, was born the following year. A military family, they traveled and relocated frequently in his childhood before the family finally settled down permanently in Las Vegas, where Brock graduated. Brock studied civil drafting and worked for a number of years as a civil designer and plans examiner. He loved cars and was a fan of drag racing, hot rods, and classic cars.

He found his soul mate and partner for life at the age of 27 when he met Stephanie. After courtship, they married in November of 1994, in Las Vegas. They enjoyed traveling together and raising their animals. Brock retired early from the City of Henderson in 2011 due to health issues. He and Stephanie focused on each other and rescuing animals in need.

Brock had an amazing sense of humor, with a sarcastic wit that was legendary for all that knew him. He was passionate about photography, animals, wildlife, cooking, and family. Brock had a deep appreciation for music, which fed and rejuvenated his soul. Brock and Stephanie loved to travel and explore the country aimlessly without a schedule in order to see and enjoy the world more thoroughly. He had an appetite for life that was curbed only by his physical limitations.

Brock was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Harriet Gregerson and his beloved grandmother Lydia Tobiason.

He is survived by his devoted wife Stephanie Gregerson of Las Vegas; his brother Scott (Cheryl) Gregerson of Utah; his aunt Helen (Erling) Wolski; loving in-laws Joe and Lilo, Theresa and Eric; nephews and nieces Zachary, Missy, Angela, Nick, and Maggie; as well as many cousins, extended relations, and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary at 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123, followed by a celebration of Brock's life at the same location. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.palmeastern.com.
