Brooke Dawn Bunata, 29, of Las Vegas, passed away Dec. 22, 2010. She was born Oct. 22, 1981, in Las Vegas and was a lifetime resident. Brooke enjoyed many things in her young life including gymnastics, soccer and was a member of the sign design theater company. She was a talented chef and had an ambition for interior design. Brooke is survived by her parents, Dawn Gregory Bunata and Joel Bunata; her son, Corey Brown; her sisters, Amber, Athena and Aurora Bunata; nephew, Tyler Jones; grandmother, Barbara Horsey Gregory; aunts, Danna Gregory, Tory Gregory, Michelle Bunata and Kathy Carroll; uncles, Daron Gregory (Judy) and T.R. Gregory (Chris); numerous cousins; and stepmother, Alicia Bunata. Services at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
