Camille M Seitz

Camille M. Seitz, 69, of Henderson, passed away May 29, 2017 at St. Rose Dominican Hospital De Lima Campus in Henderson, Nevada after multiple health complications. Camille was born in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Harriet Szczubelek on May 10, 1948.

She went to Madonna Catholic High School in Chicago, Illinois, Class of 1966 and studied at Wright Junior College. She was a beloved wife and the best mom to two children, a homemaker, bookkeeper, a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Realtor. She treasured her 48 years with her husband Bob, they truly loved each other and enjoyed spending time together. She was most proud of her children and their accomplishments and enjoyed every minute she got to spend time with them. Becoming a Realtor was her passion. She truly loved working with home buyers. Most became lifelong friends. She worked for Prudential Americana Realty in California and continued with Prudential in Nevada until she retired. Camille earned numerous awards while working as a Realtor. She even graced the cover of the Wall Street Journal as one of the top 100 real estate agents in Nevada. She loved life, traveling, camping, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Camille is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Szczubelek and Harriet Szczubelek.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Seitz of Henderson, Nevada and their children Sherri Seitz of Tustin, California and Mark (Heather) Seitz of Henderson, Nevada; her brother Joseph Szczubelek of Algonquin, Illinois; and sister Kathy McGrath (Jerry) of Belmont, Michigan.

The Seitz family wishes to extend their gratitude and love to everyone she knew. Camille (mom) leaves an enormous void in our family and we will miss her more than words could ever say. She was a true role model on how to love and live life. Her fight and will to live over the last 6 months showed her enormous strength and courage. We are happy she is no longer in pain but heartbroken that she is no longer here with us.

Services: Visitation will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas on Friday, June 9th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary on Saturday, June 10th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with Father Dave officiating. A reception will follow at home of Mark and Heather Seitz. Graveside Burial will be held at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery on Monday, June 12th at 12 noon.
