Caridad Baldovino McKay, 71, a longtime resident of the San Jose, California area, passed away on February 8, 2019 at Sunrise Hospital after a bravely fought battle against ALS.

She was born on December 6, 1947 in San Pablo City, Philippines to Oscar and Mamerta Baldovino. She found her soul mate and partner for life at the age of 30, when she married Danilo Aquino McKay of nearby Quezon City, Philippines.

Caridad received a Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering from FEATI University in 1968. She worked at the World Savings Bank as a Supervisor until her retirement.

Caridad loved to travel (visiting 58 countries around the world), food, and socializing with her friends. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.

Caridad is survived by her husband Danilo, who brought great joy to her later years.
