Carl attended the University of Utah and played football for four years while attaining a Bachelor of Sciences in Business and graduated in 1950. He married Kathryn Stover on April 5, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Carl worked for Skaggs Drug Stores for 30 years and retired in Las Vegas as a District Manager in 1983. He loved sports and followed “ALL” UNLV athletics. He also enjoyed playing golf with his friend, and playing poker and bridge. Carl was also a Boston Red Socks fan.
Carl was loved by his wife Kathryn; daughters Barbara (Bill) Moody, Marcia (Tom) Beat, and Anne Robinson (deceased); grandchildren Greg (Jenny), Robyn and Jeff; great-grandchildren Maddox and Miles; and sisters Edith (deceased), Joan, Faye and Susan.
No services will be held; charitable donations can be made to the UNLV Golf Foundation.
