Catherine Rose Revere

Catherine Rose Revere, age 82, passed away on February 19, 2024. She was born on March 30, 1941 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan to Michael J. and Agnes M. Palazzolo and had been a Las Vegas area resident for 8 years.

She was well liked in school, captain of the cheerleaders, homecoming court, class officer, graduating from Saint Gertrude in St. Clair Shores, MI. Meeting John a few years later at Mount Clemens roller rink.

On May 1, 1965, Catherine married, John J Revere at Saint Germain in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. This union brought three cherished children: Stephen Curtis (Eunson), David John (Shelly) and Gary Francis (Ashlie) Revere and five loved grandchildren: Austin, Jack, Jesse, Amber and Ethan.

Cathey‘s life was enriched by her siblings: Michael S Palazzolo and Elizabeth A Calderone and the late Joseph Polo and Nina DeMarco.

She and John traveled extensively and lived in many states making friends everywhere. She enjoyed cooking for her family and guests, making Spiedini and enjoying her Jim Beam. She was a big Aaron Rodgers fan and made us all laugh.

Cathey dedicated herself to her children, and when they were older she went back to school to pursue her RN degree in New York. Forever the caregiver, she went to Chicago to take care of her brother Joe and then to Michigan to take care of her sister Nina . She enriched people’s lives with her tap dancing, practicing Spanish, and even her political discussions.

Their compassion for their loved one brought solace to their hearts. Cathey leaves a legacy of love and kindness to all who knew her. May she rest in peace and may her memory bring comfort and joy to those who loved her.

A Celebration of Life for Cathey will be held on her 83rd birthday, Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11am until 2:30pm, with a memory sharing period beginning at 11:30am, all at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas.
