Play Tribute Movie

Cecil Hunt was born in Jackson, Mississippi on September 29, 1930 to his late parents Frank and Ruby Hunt.

There were also four Hunt brothers. He left his home at an early age to go into the Army at age 15 but was told he was too young. He waited until age 17 when his father had him enlist into the Air Force.

He is survived by the love of his life, wife Connie Hunt; son Cecil (Marge) Hunt II; daughters Sherri (Ed) Green and Pamela Kuhns; and a host of grandchildren.

He loved his time in the Air Force where he developed a respect for traveling. One of his favorite places was Las Vegas where he would come to eventually live.

Cecil also had a love for writing and a love for music. Cecil’s writing came from deep within his soul. His words are what dreams are built upon. It showed his vulnerability to all the young soldiers around him. He picked up his pen which was truly mightier than the sword. He wrote his sacred words in blood, sweat and tears for his love, his life and his soul that was hidden in the stars.

On October 1, 2020 Cecil was called for his last journey. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears to a place of warmth and comfort. For nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved from those hearts he touched!
