Cecilia Alajar (Reyes) Foster

Cecilia Alajar (Reyes) Foster, a vibrant soul born on November 22, 1941, in the city of Iloilo, Philippines, peacefully departed this life on August 8, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was 83 years old, and her long and rich life was a testament to love, dedication, and unwavering optimism.

Cecilia was the cherished matriarch of her family, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a steadfast friend to many. Her life's mission was deeply rooted in her family, and found immense joy in their presence. She nurtured her loved ones with an open heart and an endless well of affection, creating a home filled with warmth and laughter.

Beyond her family, Cecilia had a fulfilling career as a registered nurse, serving her community with compassion and dedication for over 30 years at University Medical Center.

Cecilia will be lovingly remembered for her generous spirit that extended to everyone she met. She possessed a zest for life that was evident in her passions: a love for cooking delicious meals that brought everyone together, an enthusiasm for shopping that always yielded delightful finds, and most importantly, the precious moments she spent with her adored great-grandchildren.

Cecilia is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio; devoted daughters, Ellen and Eileen, who will carry on her legacy of love and strength. She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren: Eddie R. Jr., Ryan, Danielle, Jacob, Jeffrey, Victoria, Gina, Eddie O. Jr., and Ashley, each of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life. Her great-grandchildren, Nathan, Mason, Hunter, and Giuliana, were the true lights of her later years, and she cherished every moment with them. Cecilia is also survived by her dear brother, Carlyle, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carlos (Lolo Talo) and Monserrat (Lola Monsing); sister, Carol and her cherished son, Eddie O. Sr., who she now joins in eternal peace.

A memorial service to celebrate Cecilia's life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Palm Southwest Mortuary, located at 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89113. The service will take place from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering an opportunity for family, friends, and all who knew and loved Cecilia to gather, share memories, and honor her enduring spirit.
