Chuck was born December 7, 1932, in Nashville, TN to Marvin and Suzie Claiborne. While serving in the Air Force, he met the love of his life, Pauline, and they were married on December 8, 1953.
He served our country in the US Air Force for 20 years, retiring with an honorable discharge on September 30, 1972. During this time, he served twice in Japan and twice in Vietnam with his second tour finishing in Thailand. Following his Air Force career, he held many different positions both in Las Vegas and in Nashville where they moved for a few years.
Charles is survived by his wife of 71 years, Pauline, children Marvin, Martha, Charles Jr, and Donald as well as 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday April 2nd from 1-5 PM, funeral services will be held on Thursday April 3rd at 10 AM with burial to follow.
