
Charles Warren Estelle passed away peacefully at home in Henderson on December 3, 2015 after an extended illness. He was born on July 10, 1927, in Millville, New Jersey, to Charles and Wilma (Berry). He resided in New Jersey till 2011 when he moved to Henderson to live with his daughter and son-in-law. Charles attended Millville Senior High School and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked at Owens Illinois and later Durand and Wheaton Glass until his retirement. He also played professionally in his brother's orchestra, Myron Estelle and his Orchestra. He was a talented saxophone and clarinet player. During his military service, he played in the Army band, even at front line combat zones. He married Elmira Creamer Heaton in 1952 and had three children. Charles was preceded in death by her and his infant daughter in 1957. He later married Helen Sisko, who died in 2010. Charles was also preceded in death by his brothers Myron and William, and sister Eileen. He was a lifelong member of First Methodist Church of Millville. He is survived by his son Brian and his wife Julie of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; daughter Susan Murtagh and her husband John of Henderson, Nevada; sister Wilma Mackey of Millville, Ohio; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Barbara Estelle of Vineland; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private with interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville, New Jersey.
