

Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer Charles W. Lisk, II passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Charles was decorated veteran who served in the United States Navy for 30 years.
Born to Charles and Leada Lisk in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, Charles lived a life of service often volunteering after he retired from the Navy. At the time of his passing, he resided in Las Vegas, NV.
While serving in the Navy, Charles was awarded three Bronze Stars, the Navy Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Marksman Rifleman Medal, Expert Pistol Shot Medal, and many more.
While stationed in San Diego, California, he met the love of his life, Kristie. They were married in 1986 and moved from San Diego to Las Vegas in 1994. Charles attended the University of Las Vegas Nevada where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management in December 2000.
Charles and Kristie built a life together full of adventure through traveling in their younger years and then settling into a quiet life after retirement. Charles is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Edward Alvarez, his son and daughter-in-law, Charles III and Bonnie Lisk, his step-son Chad Scozzari, his grandchildren Austin Alvarez, Autumn Alvarez, Storm Simmons, Logan Lisk, and Margaret Scozzari, and his great-grandchildren Rowan Alvarez and Emerson Alvarez. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Leada Lisk and his wife, Kristie Lisk.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Charles Lisk to the Gary Sinise Foundation. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 11:20 am at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
