

Charlie Ray Holloway Jr. was the 2nd child born to Georgia Mae Maffett and Charlie Ray Holloway Sr. on May 31, 1933. He left his hometown of Roanoke, Alabama in pursuit of a military career with the United States Air Force. He retired from the USAF after 20 years in 1972 and pursued his next career. He worked as a Respiratory Therapist for over 29 years at Sunrise Hospital and retired in 1998. He loved work, sporting events, fishing and hunting.
Charlie married the love of his life, Harumi on April 26, 1956. From this union his legacy begins with two children, Charles Ray Holloway III (Lizette) and Alice Holloway Washington (Stephen). Five grandchildren Charles, Nicholas, Matthew, Whitney, Kristopher and six great grandchildren Xaiver, Malia, Avery, MacKenzie, Brooklynn and Kai.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Roger and sister Ella. He is survived by four siblings Thomas, Sarah, Doll, Annviona and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We are grateful to God for His Grace and Mercy towards us. We enjoyed Charles and he enjoyed us. So we say thank you God for this life well lived.
