Chris Beeson

John Christopher (Chris) Beeson, 55, of Las Vegas, Nevada died suddenly in his home from a brief illness on March 24, 2016. Chris was born May 22, 1960 in Alameda, California and was raised in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1978 and attended the University of Washington. Chris enjoyed a successful, three-decade career in the restaurant industry. He was most recently Senior Vice President of Store Operations for Jamba Juice.

Chris was a loving grandson, son, brother, uncle and brother in law. He was a valued and dear friend to many. He was an endlessly considerate uncle, and always remembered his nieces and nephews on their birthdays. His interests were refined. He enjoyed musicals, theater, sumptuous meals and world travel. Recently he completed a dream vacation to Spain and Portugal. All who knew Chris will miss his broad ranging intellect, his beautiful warm smile, and his delightfully irreverent sense of humor. He was a very dear and influential person who lived a life to be celebrated. He will be greatly missed.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Robert Beeson (1987), his mother, Heather Beeson (1995), long term partner, Don Macumber (2000) and his life’s great love, Vincent Frey (2014). Chris is survived by his brothers Matt Beeson, Bill Beeson, Patrick Beeson, James Beeson, and sister Katy (Beeson) Goulding; sisters-in-law, Diane Beeson (Matt), Cathy Beeson (Bill), Eirini Papapetrou (Patrick), Sarah Beeson (James), brother-in-law, Mike Goulding (Katy), Ruth Coker (Vincent's mother). Chris was a beloved uncle to Tyler Beeson, Ashley Beeson, Emily Beeson, Jack Beeson, Aubrey Beeson, Emma Goulding and Ian Goulding.

Visitation will be Friday April 8 at noon, with services following both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Chris to the Bob Forbuss Gay and Lesbian Center, 410 S. Maryland Parkway Las Vegas, NV 89101 and the Animal Foundation where he and Vincent adopted their beloved Maddie, 55 North Mojave Road, Las Vegas, NV 89101
