Christian passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018; he was 21 years of age. He was a Marine, a graduate of the Veterans Tribute Career & Technical Academy, an aspiring comedian, a friend, confidant, son, brother and most of all, a lover of life and people.
Christian was born on March 21, 1997. He was a 2015 graduate from VTCTA where he was crowned “Mr. VTCTA” his senior year. He joined the Marines right out of High School and had returned to the states this past April after serving nine months in Kuwait. Christian looked forward to fulfilling his commitment as a Marine and pursuing his dream of being a stand-up comedian.
Christian loved his family and spending time with them. He always put them first, dropping anything and everything to be with them. He was a man of his word, if he made a promise he kept it. He was passionate about people’s rights and standing up for those that couldn’t stand up for themselves.
Christian never met a stranger, was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his father Eric Lee Honea; sister Karissa Wall; brother William Wall; grandfather Larry Moses; aunt Lindsey Honea; and mother Haleigh Honea.
The Honea and Wall family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of support over these past few days and appreciate the understanding for their privacy.
